I got to the second stage of the process, the Team Fit Interview. The first stage, talking to the recruiter, was very casual and relaxed and neatly laid out the job expectations. The recruiter was also very forthright with the salary for the role which I appreciated. The second interview, meanwhile, was not as positive. Both interviewers arrived a few minutes late and laughed between themselves for a bit, which I didn’t mind because delays happen, but it was very clear that neither of them had any idea about my background/experience as they seemed surprised when I brought up certain things. They read their questions from a list, and didn’t use any of my answers to inform their line of questioning or delve deeper into any of my experiences, choosing instead to jump from one topic to the next with no nuance and without showing any interest in my experience. The rejection email mentioned that they would keep me in mind for future positions (like they usually say) and I responded inquiring about another position that I had applied for. It’s been nearly a week and I haven’t heard back, so I don’t think the emails are monitored once they’ve been sent.

Question 1
What could you give a presentation on for 5 minutes, without any preparation?
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
We are sorry to hear that your second interview was a poor experience, this is not the behaviour we expect from our interviewers and we apologise that the interview was not conducted to our high standards.
Regarding your application, due to the high number we receive it can take over a week to respond but we do aim to respond as quickly as we can.
Wishing you all the very best!
Everyone in my company got contacted en masse, even people who had experienec that had nothing to do with this company or copywriting, e.g. cooks. One of my colleague got an interview for which the interviewer didn't even show up, another one had a terrible experience in the interview and mine was honeslty OK. However the interviewer went on holidays after my interview and he never told me anything else, even though I had previous experience in this field.
The recruiter reached out via LinkedIn and I thought I was a great fit for the position considering my background and experience. We scheduled a screen call that lasted for about 4 minutes and the questions were pretty shallow and pointless. The recruiter was seemingly in a rush to end the call and did not even bother with giving more relevant information about the position nor ask any in-depth questions about me or what I do. Got a rejection letter the next day. There might be some sort of incompetence or bias towards applicants from the recruitment team’s side because there’s simply no other explanation for it. A waste of time.
