Revolut Backend Engineer interview questions

I submitted my CS and got a response the next day. Then I selected time for a quick call with a recruiter, there was a small discussion and 8 basic questions about computer science. I answered these questions and then got an email with a test task. The task is to build a RESTful API for money transfer within a week. I got the feedback about my test task on the 5th working day and then we scheduled a technical interview (2 hours long). There were two interviewers. It was a typical interview with some discussion of my previous experience, live coding task in my IDE and some questions about programming. I got negative feedback on the next day. Even though I was rejected, we scheduled a meeting and a recruiter provided feedback.

The process was the worst I went through. First, call with HR, nothing special. Second step is a coding challenge (develop REST API to simulate money transfer) Third step was a 2 hours call with two developers. This was the worst interview I ever had. There were two guys, one was decent, the other seemed to be there just to see you fail. The questions asked, in my opinion, are not efficient to evaluate a candidate. For example: garbage collector internal behaviour. After one hour I was tired and just gave up on the interview, not only because I was tired of answering questions but also because I didn't want to work with those developers.
