I applied online. I interviewed at Red Hat in Feb 2021
Interview
Initial phone screen with a hiring manager. A couple weeks later I was emailed and told that another manager would be contacting me, but that never happened. I ended up taking a different job, but I think if you want to work for them you have to be proactive because it seems easy to slip through the cracks.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Red Hat (Pune) in Jan 2018
Interview
Hr called you and you talk to hr and then they talk and then you talk then someone else talk and then couple people talk and again you talk and then finally HR talk and tells you we will get back to you and never does.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Red Hat (Brisbane) in Dec 2019
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a Recruiter internal to Red Hat who was very keen to get me to apply for this role.
After around a week of contact from them and a copy of the PD I applied.
I had a Culture and Fit interview by phone the same day (Monday).
I had a Group interview (by video link up) two days later.
I was given a technical test the following day.
I was given an offer on the Tuesday.
The technical test was the most complex I've ever done for a new role and I wasn't able to successfully complete every aspect - those parts I was not able to complete I documented what I had tried and what went wrong.
At each step on the process there were followup emails and calls every day and at no point was I kept out of the loop.
