Red Hat Software Developer interview questions

The interview consisted of two parts. The first one was general interview about my education, career, work experience. The second one was my knowledge specifically in Software Engineering. They looked through my projects and asked questions.

First interview was with hiring manager. It was an hour long and it was conversational. Second interview was with two team members, one a tech lead, the manager of the team, and another SWE. There were snippets of code that we talked through. They asked me to explain what each section of code was doing. There were a few questions asked by the tech lead that I didn’t quite understand. I thought I did well after the interview. Just to find out the filled the role with an internal hire.l due to economy issues and the fact that he answered some questions better than me.
