The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat in Jan 2009
Interview
Red Hat has a habit of contacting prospective employees and then not following up or returning calls. I have interviewed for 3 different roles with Red Hat in the past 5 years and have had poor experiences with HR. Hiring managers themselves have been generally pleasant, but HR is extremely closed and stand offish. If you are interested in working for Red Hat, I would suggest working around HR as much as possible.

Question 1
none... questions were standard behavioral... no tricks
Referred in by a former colleague. Interview process was very straightforward with an initial phone screen and then hiring manager interview. Very basic questions were asked and interviewers were friendly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Tokio) in Nov 2024
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter to apply for the position. I interviewed with HR and then the hiring manager. Later, the recruiter informed me that I was not selected due to a lack of B2B marketing experience—despite having over 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, which I found questionable.
It was a panel and then with my teams I work with. The prcoess was pretty smooth. The two ladies were ignorant did not even my resume with them and they were not even showing interest
