I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Red Hat (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2016
Interview
Submitted application through university portal, was offered a phone interview with manager. Manager gave a brief overview of Red Hat as a company, and then of what the specific practice group's role was inside the company. It was a very helpful introduction into what the function of the position actually was, which helped me give more tailored and specific answers.

Question 1
After giving a brief overview of the practice group and its' function, my interviewer asked what contributions I could make to the group, with specific reference to my prior work experience.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Red Hat (Waterford) in Apr 2026
Interview
general technical questions about coding, variables, databases, linux. More interested if you learn the subject text by heart than you are a good character/worker. That is all. Nothing else to mention
It started with a phone call from HR, and then I got a call back to set some time up to get interviewed by someone on the team. Once I passed that round, I got interviewed by the hiring manager.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself, and how would you describe yourself (3 personality traits)
3 rounds -recruiter screen, technical, panel interview. Relatively standard process I would say. I would recommend brushing up on your basics, in addition to looking into the specifics of your particular role and what you can bring to the table/ what interests you the most about the particular technology you would be working on.
