I was approached via LinkedIn and was intrigued by the opportunity. After missing my first interview due to unforseen circumstances—something I assumed would cost me the role—I was pleasantly surprised by how understanding the recruiter was and the effort made to reschedule. However, despite offering multiple alternatives, the only available slot was far out. Then, on the day of the interview, I received a last-minute email stating the role had been filled internally without any prior notice. While I appreciate the recruiter’s previous flexibility, the overall experience left me frustrated with the communication.
