I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY) in Sep 2022
Interview
Initial phone screening and then anticipated a follow up (was told to be on the look out for an email). Nothing ever came, despite following up a few times. Got a response but by then the role was filled.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a project you've worked on in the past and how you leveraged data to make decisions.
Disrespectful and possibly biased: the interviewer had his hat on the entire time and very much looked like he didn't want to be there. It was a typical Product Design/Sense case, and I thought I did quite well, or at least above average; my impression is based on mocks with even more senior PMs at FAANG companies. The interviewer, however, seemed to be looking for only one thing and was not engaging at all.

Question 1
Product sense case question: "How would you design Spotify for x type of users?"

Interview
Had a screening call that went decently well, although I’d point out that I felt like the person from the recruitment team was quite aggressive and had a chip on her shoulder for some reason. I then interviewed with a member of the team for a case study, which went just ok. He was friendly enough but seemed like was only looking for one answer to a wide open case study. Did not proceed in the process, and I can tell that this company is an intense one.
