I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp (New York, NY) in Oct 2023
Interview
The hiring manager explicitly told me that work life balance is not something that is common at Ramp. I appreciate that he was candid in his reflection on the sales culture, as it allowed me to self opt out of the role.

Question 1
What sales methodologies do you use/are you trained in?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process was flawless. The recruiting team was timely and communicated through the entire process. Pay range was discussed up front so no one wasted time. The people were tremendous and helped make this an easy decision to accept this offer. The interview process is 4 or 5 separate interview but this is pretty normal in the tech space - just an FYI.

Question 1
Give me a time when you had to have a tough conversation with a partner/vendor that was living up to expectations?
Quick process. hr call-sales call- sales presentation- director call.Like a similar review, they will ghost you after many interviews and not even tell you if you got the job. Bad overall experience and not a great look. Wouldn't recommend.

Typical sales questions, they want to get to know you and your experience.
Hi there! Thank you for this feedback, we're very sorry about the bad experience you had here. We clearly did not do a good job communicating how the process was moving forward. Our aim is to keep candidates updated throughout the entire process - but it is especially important when someone has put in the time to meet the team, as you had. We've made changes to our process to address this and hope to do better in the future.
Once again, we're very sorry for the bad experience - and thank you for the feedback.
