I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Oct 2011
Interview
One of the most robust interview processes I've ever been involved with. They ask more questions than the government does when reviewing a security clearance. Know your resume, they will ask you about things on it! They also use an outside firm to vet your application and resume information.

Interview
Applied online earlier in may and received a phone call from recruiter to schedule a phone interview with hiring manager.
phone interview was brief and talked about my experience using CAD and product design and why I want to work at Raytheon.
Waited a week for response and I have to take the initiative to call the hiring manager and HR recruiter to receive status. Obviously when applicant call in, you often hear a rejection.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Garland, TX) in Nov 2010
Interview
Easy, no hassle.
