I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ)
Interview
I applied through on-campus career service and it was straight-forward. It was mostly personality based and they evaluate your disposition and aptitude. There were no difficult technical questions (I hear this has changed) or whiteboard coding. There's an extensive background check.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RTX (Huntsville, AL) in May 2015
Interview
The interview process was a normal Interview that took place over the phone. The hiring official asked basic questions to determine my level of experience in order to ensure I was qualified for the position and that I was capable to perform the job in the event that I was selected to fill the position.
I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at RTX in Jan 2016
Interview
Phone interview, I had to call in. The interviewer didn't answer and then called me back an hour later. Overall it was a pretty easy interview, nothing too technical. Mostly just behavioral and background questions, and logistics. After the interview they invited to complete another online application. However, I never heard back after this.
