It took about an hour for the first interview. I’m still in the interviewing process but looking forward to hearing more, they seem to value work life balance which I care a lot about.

Interview
My first two video interviews were great! I spoke with a recruiter for my first interview and then with a customer experience leader for my second. Both were very friendly and welcoming, had a lot of positive things to share about the company, and really made me feel like I wanted to be part of the team.
My third video interview is where things went downhill. For this interview I spoke with an executive level employee and they did not seem fully invested in my interview. While conducting the interview from their office, I could tell they were very distracted. Their eyes kept veering bast the screen as they acknowledged people walking by. They were not very warm or friendly at all. During our interview another person joined the zoom call unexpectedly. This would never happen in an in person interview, and to be honest it caught me really off guard. Lastly, I believe the interviewer did not like the questions I asked. I asked about growth within in the company and got a run of the mill answer saying it wont happen over night, but if you work hard you can move up over time. Secondly, I asked about work/life balance and they seemed to get very annoyed. It is something that is very important to me, and I got the sense that they thought I was not willing to put in the time or effort to succeed at RH, which is completely untrue.
In the end, I am glad I did not take the position at RH. I quickly realized that their culture is not for me and I am totally ok not working for such a selfish company.
