Applied online and within a week received a call from an area manager to come for an interview. Traveled over an hour to meet her at her home store location. Interview went well and she indicated I would definitely be hearing from them again in the near future. One week later, I received a call from her regional manager asking for a phone interview. One half hour into that conversation, I mentioned having covered the topic with the area manager and she admitted not knowing we had met and talked. At the close of the conversation, she promised that either she or the area manage would follow up with me within a week. Ten days later, not having heard anything, I sent a follow up email to the area manager I had originally met with simply expressing my interest in the position. Another week passed and I emailed the regional again politely expressing my hope we would be talking again soon. I never received any sort of communication from either of them after that point. Dysfunctional is the only appropriate adjective to describe their organization.
