I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RE/MAX (Reykjavík)
Interview
An acquaintance had recently hired on as a sales associate and recommended me to his superiors. They asked me to send in a CV and quickly called me in for an interview. The interview was very friendly where we mainly discussed the ups and downs of commission based income and what they expected of their sales associates. It seemed that they were quite open to people of varying skill levels to hire on in order to see if they were able to get listings and sales.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at RE/MAX (Toronto, ON)
Interview
The interview process at RE/MAX is typically efficient, focusing on your experience in real estate, sales skills, and ability to work independently. Expect questions on your sales record, client management, and understanding of the local market. The atmosphere is professional yet welcoming.
Very formal and casual. Met with both managing broker and owner. First started off talking about myself and my experience, it later transitioned into them asking how I will contribute to the company success and goals. Afterwards we discussed salary, expectations and were impressed enough to offer me the position.
