Had 5 different interviews with 3 different teams inside Qualcomm. All of them were on phone. Everyone who talked to me was really nice. They do not mean to trick you on the questions and give hints. Some interviews were very technical, i.e. give you a problem and you're supposed to solve using pen and paper while saying your thoughts out loud, and some were more of getting to know your past work only.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Probability question: If you had a 1-m long stick and you chose two points randomly on the stick to break at, what is the probability that the three resulting small sticks can form a triangle?
The two interviews were very fair. You could ask to use another programming language if you asked. The interviewers were really friendly and happy to chime in when you needed a small hint. Make sure to speak out your thought process while coding.
I applied online. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Oct 2020
Interview
It was a 30 minutes Microsoft Teams meeting. And there were all technical questions. I had ten minutes at the end to ask questions. The interviewer was nice and only asked questions related to my coursework.
