Interview
The H/R contacted me and scheduled a phone interview for about one week later. On the interview date, one of their engineerins called me and conducted the interview which took more than one hour. First, he asked me to introduce myself and why I want to do an internship. I was then asked about my research project and things I had included in my resume. The second half of the interview was on basic questions from Matlab, C, modulations, error correction codes, etc. Mostly on fundamentals. The interviewer was very expert and nice. Two weeks later, they emailed me and said they cannot offer me the internship.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What was your main challenge working in a big group and how did you overcome that?
I just finished the phone interview today, and may not be given on-site because this job actually requires years of working experience. The interviewer is very nice and questions are very clear and give me hints. And finally after the interview, he even suggested some more suitable positions.

Question 1
Very basic questions about GPS, Kalman filter and C programming.
Given numbers from 1 to 100, order is random. there is one missing number, try to find.

Interview
Phone interview with one senior engineer and the hiring manager:
Senior engineer asked me the following questions:
1. How does the drain current of NMOS transistor vary with temperature change?
2. How does the gain of CS-Amplifer change with the temperature variation?
3. Basic design procedure of power amplifer?
4. Phase noise definition.
5. What cause phase noise of oscillator and PLL?
Hiring manager:
1. Cutoff frequency definition, how to calculate it of CMOS transistor, how to increase and decrease it?
2. Relationship between transconductance and width of transistor/
3. Input impedance value of CS-Amplifer with source degenerated resistor, inductor or capacitor?
4. Operational Transconductance Amplifer: How does the gain change with drain current change?
Some questions on my resume.
