I applied in-person. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2010
Interview
I was interviewing a compiler engineer position, so all questions were about compiler and C++ programming. One question about compiler is: How many kinds of code redundancy can you think of? How to remove these kinds of redundancy?
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2013
Interview
Lots of basic analog questions. Just get through them trying to analyze these. You may not be able to answer all of them but should be thinking in the right direction. Questions start from single transistor circuits to more complicated system level scenarios. They want you to answer most questions intuitively without detailed calculations.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Questions about system stability without actual pole zero analysis, and give intuitive justification.
