Qualcomm Walk-In Interview (Embedded / Software Role) – Bengaluru
Total Rounds: 4 (3 Technical + 1 HR)
🧠 Round 1: Technical (Operating Systems – In-depth)
The first technical round focused entirely on Operating Systems concepts. Topics included process scheduling, deadlocks, inter-process communication, memory management, and synchronization. The interviewer went in-depth to test both theoretical and practical understanding.
💻 Round 2: Technical (OS + C Programming)
This round was approximately 75% OS and 25% C language. The interviewer asked two coding questions, one based on arrays and another on strings. Apart from coding, there were scenario-based OS questions related to process management and semaphores.
⚙️ Round 3: Technical (Problem-Solving + Debugging)
This round tested logical thinking, debugging skills, and knowledge of Embedded concepts. Some questions were focused on pointers, memory handling in C, and optimization techniques.
👥 Round 4: HR Discussion
The final round was with the HR team, where they discussed work experience, current and expected CTC, notice period, and project background. A few behavioral and situational questions were also asked.

Revise Operating Systems thoroughly (especially scheduling, memory, and synchronization) and practice C coding and debugging questions. A clear understanding of concepts + clean coding style is highly valued.
there are 5 rounds, and each round has one interviewer. Interviewers are from different sites. The five rounds mainly focus on technical. The questions include systemverilog, uvm, and your projects.
