I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in Sep 2024
Interview
Two hour-long back to back interviews on site. Both with engineers. Some resume and background questions, one main technical problem that took up most of the time. Time for questions afterwards - about transitioning to work after college, life in San Diego, internship project placement, etc.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Qualcomm in Oct 2025
Interview
I had my first 45-minute coding interview in C++. The interviewer shared his screen and showed me questions, and I had to solve them on a notepad while sharing my screen.
HR will call and schedule, start of the interview itself you will be confused since you can't see interviewer, looks like Qualcomm policy. in fact I gave interviews to other corporate major semicons, didn't faced like this much. in fact due to this worst discussions in fact I was little disturbed and missed better chances.

Question 1
basic C questions, and they have very standard it seems delete linked list, add an element to bst, semaphore vs mutex etc., sometimes some domain specific or some protocol related. once I had 3 hr round with one of the team and I almost aced it but after I didn't hear anything. I felt interviewers are in much hurry and conclude just like that, sometimes I encountered narrow minded people.
