QAD Manager interview questions

Was referred to a position by someone who knew someone internally. The recruiter reached out to me and conversation went very well. Set up the interview with the hiring manager which also went very well but I will admit I was missing some experience they were looking for and they did say they had other candidates they were interviewing that week. I followed up with the recruiter multiple times post interview for an update and never heard back. This was 3 months ago now. Absolutely shocked that I was not only ghosted by a company, but by one I was referred to where someone had a contact they knew. Never have had that happen before and am generally a great interviewer so I know it was not me. Just a very bad look on the company in my opinion. No problem at all to say you chose to move forward with other candidates.
