1. Telephone Interview with your recruiter - more of a relaxed conversation about your background and projects you've worked on.
2. Assessment Day consisting of:
Group Exercise to produce a presentation on a topic (provided on the day)
Technical Interview assessing your knowledge of
Java, OOP, Project history and Agile Methodoligies
Test - 30-40 minute multiple choice test to assess your knowledge of Java e.g. access & non-access modifiers and logical reasoning
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at QA (Manchester, Inglaterra) in Feb 2017
Interview
Basic non-technical phone interview to assess your experience and interest. This lead to an assessment centre not long after which consisted of a Java and Aptitude Test, right after an presentation about QA. The main assessment was a group task of creating and branding a product around a certain theme. During this time, each individual were pulled out to have a 1 to 1 interview which consisted of java based questions and questions about experience written on your CV.

Question 1
Describe object oriented programming to me as if I was a non-technical person.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at QA (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in Jan 2017
Interview
Just a quick impersonal telephone interview. It was extremely rushed which was not what I was expecting so quite demotivating considering ample rapport built up within email correspondence.
It's been over a month since the telephone interview and despite reaching out, I have not received an email or call letting me know that I've been unsuccessful. Wasn't expecting tailored feedback, just an acknowledgement.
Suggestions: allocate time to reaching out to all those whom embark on your interview processes. Set up a mail merge, make it impersonal, who cares but treat candidates fairly and let them know where they stand.
We’re genuinely sorry that you feel you have not had the best experience with us. This certainly is not the process we usually follow, and we are looking further into why an outcome or feedback wasn’t provided to you within our allocated timeframes after your interview. Our advice would be to please email the recruiter contact you have and they will be very happy to provide you with feedback as soon as possible. We wish you the very best of luck in your job search.
