The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Providence
Interview
I interviewed via hirevue twice. It's a video interview, where you record yourself with your webcam, 8-12 times questions. Then I interviewed again in person with the nurse manager. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the week. She didn't. I eventually got an automated rejection email. I felt like after spending over a month interviewing, a personal email was in order. Especially since I spent my senior practicum on the unit.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Providence (Portland, OR) in Jul 2013
Interview
Back then Paper application then telephone interview then person to person. About 2 week process the person to person was with one lady more or less telling me a description of her role I was going into a New grad program
I applied online. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Providence (Spokane, WA) in Apr 2017
Interview
After wasting my time between numerous nurse recruiters from Providence (they don't even work in Spokane) I gave up. Everyone just told me to keep applying online, I'm an RN and I have experience, I took a job elsewhere after becoming frustrated with the process. They don't need nurses that badly.
