I've worked for Providence in the past, and the company's hiring process is notoriously slow. Providence uses an online portal to initiate the application process, and it's not uncommon to wait a month before hearing that you've been selected for an interview. I waited about three weeks and then called the hiring director, who promptly offered a phone interview (to take place within the week). This director and a Providence manager were both present for the phone interview, which was scheduled to last an hour. It lasted 48 minutes. My perception of both these people is that they were very nice and wanted me to feel relaxed. Within two hours of the phone interview I was invited for two 1:1 interviews and a panel interview (to take place about two weeks later).
