I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, CT) in Jul 2016
Interview
Got a screen call saying my resume has been floating throughout the company and asking what positions I am interested in. They said they would pass my resume to specific managers and see who wants to interview me. A week later I got an invitation to their "Superday" where they set you up with 4 interviews on one day to increase your chances of getting an offer. I was somewhat local, so I drove up, they provided breakfast and lunch, and had a little presentation. Interviews were pretty easy, mostly STAR questions or questions about current/past job responsibilities.
Got an informal offer a week later, and the formal offer another week after that (I think the HR rep was out on vacation). The offer was WAY more than what I was expecting. They neglected to offer relocation, so I asked for that, and more money, and they gave me both. They were very friendly about the whole process and quick.
