I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Planned Parenthood (New York, NY) in Jan 2018
Interview
There was an initial phone screening with an HR representative, followed by an hour long interview with the direct manager. For the second round, I was required to submit 10 pages of paperwork, including references for all prior work. I was told that candidates who made it past this round had an assignment to complete. I am writing here specifically to advise how disappointed I am in Planned Parenthood. As an organization driven by donors and volunteers, I was surprised that Planned Parenthood never got back to me following two rounds of interviews and completion of 10 pages of paperwork and extended e-mail correspondence. I of course continue to commend Planned Parenthood and the work they do, but in the future, for an mission-driven organization, it is incredibly important to get back to applicants who you have already spent a lengthy amount of time in an interview process (and want to remain committed to the organization, whether employed by them or not!).

I applied online in May of 2017 for the Planned Parenthood affiliate, PP of Northern, Central, and Southern New Jersey in the Public Affairs department. The process took about 5 weeks with two different rounds of phone interviews.

Interview
It was a phone interview, followed by an in person interview, then reference check. The phone interview was basic, why you want the position, and what sparked your interest. How adaptable are you during difficult, high stress positions.
