PayPal Senior Software Engineer interview questions

First-round was a HackerEarth test which was of medium level. After that, there was DS/Algo round which was also of medium level and the interviewer was friendly. The worst was 3rd round, the interviewer had perhaps already made up his mind or he was not interested in listening. Funny thing, he was expecting me to answer system design questions in a minute or so and perhaps had an objective answer too. He didn't bother to clarify the proper req for designing or at least listen to me when I was trying to jot it down. He gave me a simple linked list question and perhaps answer was what he has in his mind, so he decided that that's incorrect. I like the company but please choose wisely who is interviewing. A good company with a poor interviewer often loses good candidates.

Worst interview process I ever faced in my 8 years of IT career. I gave the first round in sept-2020 and it kept continue till apr-2021 and after these 6 months and 5 rounds, they asked me to give one more round. However, I already submitted my documents after 5 rounds as feedback was positive. The 6'th round never happened. HR stopped responding to mail and calls. I felt it was very unprofessional for an iconic brand like PayPal. Questions to PayPal Do you have a defined process of interview with a fixed number of interviews? Why my 5 rounds of interview took 6 months? Why I did not receive an offer after 5 rounds of interview positive feedback? How suddenly the 6th round came into the picture? Why 6th round never happened? Why Candidate(me) did not receive clear communication?
