Got the email to schedule a 45 minute interview. I scheduled the interview and joined early on the day of interview. No one showed up for a good 20 minutes. I contacted the recruiter to clarify and they told me that the Interviewer joined and left since I was not present. They rescheduled the interview for the next day. I joined and the interview was least interested in taking the interview, completed everything within 15 mins and left

I wouldn't interview with PayPal ever again. This interview experience is beyond ridiculous. Initially I got a recruiter screening call and it went well. After that, first technical screen was scheduled. The questions were simple and medium lc coding, for which I've written the optimal working code which is binary search and answered all the questions, I got a rejection couple of days later and the feedback given was "lacks basic skills in DSA and basic search algos". I asked the recruiter to review the video recordings of the interview saying the feedback is false, which successfully got me another chance for one more technical screen. But in the next interview too, I was given a basic lc easy question to code on hackerrank, which I did without any difficulty, but the interviewer asked me not to run the code and didn't think much of it that time. Also the interview was scheduled for 45min initially, but it went over 2 hours. The interviewer was very unprofessional, saying I should work for FAANG, not some company like PayPal etc. After going through all this, I received a reject again(not surprised) reason being test cases didn't pass, poor code. I was beyond shocked how low these companies could go, just wasting other's time and efforts.
