Interview
Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. The HR were quite good at their job always calling in advance and confirming. After clearing the OA. I got a doc with detailed info on each round.
I really liked their recruitment process to be honest.
The first round was coding. I think the guy did not have time to go through the questions properly. Some qns had to have some constraints. On asking he did not mention. Without the constraints it was not possible to solve it in optimised way. So solved a couple qns in brute force. Did not expect to clear but got a call for next round which was supposed to be technical but to my surprise it was a design round. The guy had less experience than me. It seemed like he was also occupied with work at that time. During the design discussions, he started finding some illogical mistakes. As if he had a design in mind and I was not following it. Or may be I'm not smart enough to understand his qns. He made a suggestion in between and I found a mistake in it(duplication of data). During the course we had many differences of opinion, I guess he had already made up his mind to give negative feedback.
If the employees are so busy that they don't even have time to conduct a 1 hour interview properly I wonder what the work life balance would be like.
