Interview
Interviewer came late, rushed through process and said we wouldn’t have enough time so he would be “Interjecting” a lot but we need more time. After our interview I spoke with the PayPal recruiter to find out he told her that he wanted that short of an interview time. When I explained he was late, rude and barely got to my experience we set up a second interview. This second interview I was able to walk through my portfolio and share all the direct experience that corollated with the role. I never head from PayPal again.

Received email from recruiter after employee referral about setting up a 1:1 with HM.
HM call was terrible. For some reason, HM thinks that by caveating a question with "there are no wrong answers", it makes interviewees feel as if they can let their guard down and provide honest answers when this clearly is not the case. More so, when being asked irrelevant questions like "If you had to talk my ear off about one thing, what would it be?". How is this related to design and why should I tell you? It was pretty clear that I was judged based on the answer to this question even though "there are no wrong answers".

Got back 2 weeks later, and immidietely got schedule for two interviews following week.
Received feedback on what to improve, people were friendly. But overall, it was a good learning experience.
