I applied online and was reached out to by PayPal's talent acquisition one day later. After a brief phone interview I was given a date and time for an in-person interview onsite.

Question 1
Most questions were along the lines of 'explain a situation where you encountered an (angry, frustrated, confused, etc.) customer/situation and describe how you dealt with it. Another question was if I felt I should follow strictly by company policy regarding customer solutions, or do whatever is best for the customer, regardless of policy.
I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at PayPal (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2016
Interview
I was sat down and asked questions by several managers and department assistants. It was a productive and helpful session and we reviewed the company expectaions as well as that of the employees and external stakeholders who are part of the process

I applied by the recruiter agency. I had phone preparation interview with recruiter and on the next day I had face to face interview and language test in PayPal in Dundalk. The recruiters asked about giving examples of different situation from previous job, how I deal with customer and about my motivation to working in PayPal
