Received a LinkedIn inquiry. Was not looking for a job but was open to talking. Accepted LinkedIn inquiry and set up call. Director of Executive Staffing was late to call. Thought maybe I had wrong date/time. Call came in late but we finally connected.

Question 1
No real difficult questions. Was asked why "I was looking?" Was very honest by saying I really wasn't looking......for a company to solicit me there was no selling on their part. It was kind of strange. The call did not go well. I was told they were just starting process and they would let me know in the next 4 weeks. Needless to say I never heard back. Once again a company that spends time soliciting candidates via LinkedIn but doesn't know how to leave a positive impression when not interested. It really doesn't hurt to provide closure. Especially when they initiate. Makes me appreciate where I am!
Two rounds of screens with HR went smoothly. Then I was scheduled for four to five one on ones with peers on the team. Everyone is reasonable and asked mostly behavioral questions. By the time I spoke with the hiring manager, he already heard so much good feedback about me and we mostly talked about the team culture and culture fit. Offer was made shortly after that.

Cordial, polite, with predictable questions. I answered as well as I could given that I had little information about the job so I couldn't many highlight relevant skills or experiences.

Phone screen, then a F2F interview with 2 different people separately. Requested I do another interview for another group more fitting, interviewed with 3 F2F at another time and place
