They set up a meeting through Microsoft teams and we met online. It was a pretty basic interview with the usual questions. The person who interviewed me was really nice and she gave me a lot of opportunities to showcase my resume and skills.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Panasonic in Sep 2020
Interview
HR phone interview was fine, moved to second round with the marketing manager and thats when I realized I didn't want the job. It was virtual, due to the pandemic, and I logged on early in the morning as it was at 9AM. I looked professional and had been studying for days. The manager came on, said she wouldn't be turning on her camera be sure she just rolled out of bed and the proceeded to eat during the interview which I could hear loud and clear and it was really distracting. The interview questions were mediocre and when I got to ask questions, I asked about work-life balance and she flat out responded that it was "hard" to achieve because management had expectations. I'm all for honesty in an interview but this employee seemed like she didn't care for the company or the job and couldn't care less about the interview. Glad I didn't move forward, but I definitely feel bad for whoever they hired!
