I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PAE in Jan 2018
Interview
I was invited to an initial interview and it went well. A few days later, I was told the manager would be moving forward with the position with me but first I would have to talk to three of the directors on the phone.
The first director I talked to was awesome and spoke to me as if I already worked there (so I was extremely excited) and assumed these calls were just a formality, and I already landed the job. She literally said "when you start this," "when you start that" "I want to take you this and that place with me." Needless to say I was ecstatic.
The next call was a Facetime call which went well . The third call was rescheduled but he called me anyway! I made the mistake of answering so was caught off guard but continued with the phone call anyway.
At the end of this excruciating process I waited three or four weeks and they told me I did not receive the job and they would be moving forward with other candidates. I was heart broken and felt deceived. The whole process was confusing, and left a bad taste in my mouth about PAE. They obviously don't care about candidates whatsoever and don't care that they lead you on. I even considered talking to human resources because I was ready to quit my job after the first phone call! They need to get their recruitment process together.
