I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Oracle in Jun 2014
Interview
The first call was with a recruiter, who told me to expect 5 calls. She asked general information about my background. The next call was the area manager and lasted about an hour. Fairly straight forward. I was offered the job on the next call.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Oracle (Singapur) in Sep 2014
Interview
Overall it was a pleasant experience, but the candidate needs to be prepared. There was a four step interview: phone screen by a Recruiter, face to face with the Hiring Manager, web conference with presentation with the Senior Director and phone interview with the Vice President. Negotiation of salary happens with the recruiter. The interview process happened over three weeks but the offer letter took quite a while.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic questions about past employment, knowledge of solutions, experience in geographies. A presentation about first 90 days. Some questions about hypothetical scenarios and role playing.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Oracle
Interview
The communication with my recruiter made this process efficient over the 2 month process. Initially there was a group interview information session at a local hotel where they provided appetizers. After that there was a phone interview, two separate on site interviews with two different managers as well as a final phone interview.
