Interview
This was by far the most unprofessional interview and process I have ever encountered. I showed up for my interview in the store. The person who I was scheduled to meet was not there. I was told she was on a 15 minute break. About 20 minutes later one of the store managers told me that she was actually on an hour break and that she would interview me. She did this for 5 minutes right in the store isle. She was talking about how they needed help right away especially for Black Friday. I asked her if she knew what position I was applying for as it was not for a floor position and she assured me she did. Within 5 minutes she said - don't worry you wont have to come back. I will make a recommendation that you are brought right into training.
I walked out completely dumfounded and disappointed.
I got a call today from the GAP person who originally called me saying they wanted to start me in training tomorrow. I told her I did not even know anything about the job, what the pay is etc. She told me that they are not actually hiring for Product and Marketing Specialists at this time and it would be a sales associate for a whopping $10 bucks an hour.
I said NO THANKS! The job postings are bogus - bait and switch to get people in.
