When I first applied, the HR rep was very organized and speedy in setting up an interview. After the interview, it was radio silence. I reached out to her over a month after my interview to touch base, where she responded very quickly, indicating the position was still open and we would talk soon. Two weeks later, I wrote her again to follow up, and after several days have not heard back. I know someone else who was interviewing for another position and the same thing happened with them as well. It is very disrespectful and unprofessional to ghost a candidate after a second round interview process. We deserve the respect of an update or that we weren’t a good fit for the job. There were also other things that happened that I can’t list do to privacy, but were also extremely unprofessional.
