Interview
I had an initial phone screen which I think I did well in. They asked me a few questions about my resume; however, I could tell that the person was a rep who didn't really know engineering that well. A few months later they got back to me with an offer.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Fort Irwin, CA)
Interview
I was interviewed by one of the Senior Supervisors. Just the two of us were in the interview room but now they interview differently. There's a hiring committee which consists of all Supervisors in a panel interviewing you at the same interview appearance. The interviewee' sits on the opposite side of the table from the interviewing panel committee.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (El Paso, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
The interview process was a formality and quite a joke to be honest. The hiring manager was supposed to call on a specific date and time. I was ready and available for the phone call but never received the call. Contacted the recruiter and she scheduled another appointment time. The next appointment time I waited for quite sometime before getting a call. The call lasted less than ten minutes with the majority of the conversation focusing on naming people that we knew in the industry.
