I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Azusa, CA) in Mar 2010
Interview
Applied online, after about 3 weeks contacted by an engineer and had a brief 15 minute phone interview. 1 week later contacted by the manager, 45 minute interview. Described the group I'd be working at and asked about my school projects. Asked about my comfort level with MATLAB, CAD tools, etc. No technical questions. Everyone in the process was extremely friendly.
I got the job. They asked me questions and I responded well enough I guess. They asked about previous experience. Here are some more words. I don’t know why this thing requires so many words

I applied through other source. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Fort Worth, TX) in Dec 2022
Interview
I first received a phone call to set a date/time for a phone interview, then had a phone interview with an actual engineer. The engineer asked behavioral questions pertaining to their company values and told me he'd be recommending me for the position, and any person he's recommended has always gotten an internship offer!
