Good interview process, nice and friendly without too much pressure. Asked standard interview questions. No out of the box questions or too difficult questions. Just need to know your resume.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman in Sep 2009
Interview
I was interviewed and encountered no major technical questions. My technical background was very specific and was accounted for in my resume. The most important question(s) I prepared for were:
"what sets me apart from other candidates (i.e. why should they choose me)"
"how would I motivate employees land promote collaboration in group settings"
One on one phone interview to review the job posting, what specific applications the company used, and what experience I had in the groups specific working software. It was a casual environment.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Northrop Grumman (Portsmouth, VA) in Dec 2018
Interview
The interviewers were very courteous and ask very good questions mostly about how I communicate and work on a team however after being informed that they are going to make me a offer after the Christmas shutdown. I was told that they had cancelled the position and reallocated other resources for this position. I am very disappointed with the way the process was handled post interview.
