I applied online. I interviewed at National Instruments
Interview
The phone call was set at X time, I waited 10 minutes more than the X time set and as I did not receive a call from NI, I decided to go move as I had things to do. The recruiter called me 15 minutes later and I was not able to talk at that time... She did not like it and proposed to set another time, but days later they just send me an e-mail advising that I was out of the hiring process... Even when my resume was really close to what they were looking for...
Do not lose talent for human things like this...
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at National Instruments (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
Received an interview two months after applying. First interview was mainly about times where I’ve demonstrated teamwork and customer service skills. Received feedback the following day with an invitation for a second phone interview.
The second phone interview was slightly more technical due to the interviewer focusing more on what I’ve done throughout my degree. They also asked if there were interesting achievements/hobbies that I haven’t put in my CV. Received feedback and an invite to the assessment centre the following day.
Assessment centre consists of a technical interview, a competency interview, a tour, a technical presentation and a group activity. Have yet to attend the assessment centre.
