Recruiter called with an initial offer for me to apply, so I went online and submitted my resume. It was about 10 days before I heard back and the recruiter wanted to set up an interview. A few days later, I went in. The building was set up kind of awkward, there were two people at the front desk who didn't work for NADA but checked me in, and I had to wait about 10 minutes before the recruiter came down and she was holding and eating food! She didn't know where I was supposed to go, so we walked around... Finally we found the room and I waited another 10 minutes. By now I was kind of annoyed because I had just walked a MILE from the metro station, because the recruiter told me the nearest station was Tyson's and in fact, Greensboro is much closer. Finally the two guys in the department came in. The interview actually went very well, and as much as I didn't think I would like the job, it appealed to me. We talked about the next steps and I at least thought I would get a second interview with their boss. So the weird part was when it was over, I shook their hands and then they didn't say anything- no "We'll be in touch", no "Someone will call" or anything. I was walked out by one of the people and then left. I sent a follow-up thank you email and received no response. Never got a rejection or second call whatsoever. To me, that's unprofessional, but hey, what do I know?
