I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Charlotte, NC) in Jul 2025
Interview
Recruiter reached out to schedule an interview with hiring manager, took a week to schedule. Hiring manager was very friendly, told me what I would be working on, a RAG agentic model integrated with their internal tools. I felt like I answered everything perfectly. Manager said we will talk again real soon. I sent a thank you and followed up a week later. Got an email saying I didn't get the job.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Milpitas, CA) in Aug 2021
Interview
I was fresh from PhD and was expecting to talk with a focus to my PhD thesis and expertise. That was a wrong assumption. It was more like an undergrad analog design course exam. I should have studied the Razavi book instead of getting a PhD :)

Question 1
draw basic bandgap circuit with a feedback amplifier. You are asked to write the equations and also put the + and - input sides of the amplifier for a correct negative feedback. Explained well in the Razavi book.
intense 5 itws with 5 different people, all just unstructured chats about the role. One technical discussion that involved some math. Initially got rejected after last interview when I messaged the manger for an update. They then changed their mind and I got offered the job a few weeks later. Then a week later they said they were having a hiring freeze and rejected me again. Very unprofessional experience in so many regards.
