I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Jun 2008
Interview
My interview process was pretty fast. I think they really needed someone to fill the roll quickly. Within in a week I had a phone interview with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. Then I was brought in to interview with all the management of the group I was joining. I met with 5 people that day. The recruiter was very cool. Easy to talk to and he kept me informed of the process. The hiring manager was also very nice and spunky. A fast talker, very eager. The rest of the management team was kinda just there to be there. The VP was sharp one. He actually asked questions to test you and your knowledge. By the end of the week I had an offer and I didn’t have to really negotiate my salary they just offered me a number I couldn’t say no to and I started right away.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Austin, TX) in Jul 2012
Interview
Had got a referral through a contact there, so the HR contacted me over email. I had 3 phone interviews scheduled, one after the other over the course of 2-3 weeks. Nothing difficult, about my resume and some simple programming basics. Then I was called onsite for half a day, where I had 5 technical interviews of 45+ mins each spanning programming techniques, designing, computer architecture, system verilog, c, c++ (i had them on my resume). Most of the interviewers were very friendly, good people. I enjoyed the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at NVIDIA
Interview
There was three phone interview. All of them took more 45 min. The HR will notified me if I get a further interview a week after I finished the previous one. The whole process took more than two months. The first one focus on hardware digital design. The second one is more on software knowledge. The last one the recruiter asked me to describe about the projects I did.
