The review process will consist of a single round discussion based on your research work. This involves presenting your research findings, methodology, and contributions, followed by a round of questions and feedback. The goal is to assess your understanding of the topic, the depth of your analysis, and how well you can articulate your ideas. You won't need to prepare for coding questions in this round, as the focus is solely on your research.

Interview
applied thru a referral, two rounds of interviews, mostly behavioral with a questions about RAG and ML. asked to explain technical concepts in a digestible manner and asked a lot of questions about nvidia + their software products
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Sep 2024
Interview
First interview was great, hiring manager was friendly and went over my resume politely and in reasonable depth. Second round was two hour long interviews with 3 to 4 members of the team. Incredibly rude people off the bat, nothing I said was received positively even when I gave the answer they were looking for. Asked me to troubleshoot a theoretical situation but would give no feedback on anything that would influence my troubleshooting, just kept repeating that it was a theoretical situation. Couldn't even bother to listen to me so when they asked a question and I replied, they'd paraphrase back what I said but incredibly wrong. If I tried to correct them they insisted that I was wrong (ie interviewer insisted that a local machine a user was connecting from, and a vm the user was connecting to, was the same thing). Shut down the interview saying they "had everything they needed", then took 8 business days to tell me to kick rocks. 0/10 would not interview for another position with this team, clear they have heavy bias against any external applicants and an even heavier need to feel superior. Shame because the company perks seem great.
