The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NVIDIA (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
The interviewer was poorly communicative and seemed inexperienced. She didn’t turn on her camera, even though I had mine on during the online interview. She initially asked me to explain the architecture of a project. After I provided, she said it wasn’t what she wanted. When she struggled to express herself, she became impatient and spoke in a rushed manner.
As a software engineer who has successfully passed technical interviews with offers from FAANG companies, I expected a more professional experience. Unfortunately, my interviewer at NVIDIA did not seem to have sufficient coding experience. The problem she presented was straightforward, and I solved it using a two-pointer approach in just four lines of code. She claimed she didn’t understand what I was trying to do.
I provided three different solutions, but it seemed she had a specific method in mind, which she never say it. The solution she might have wanted wasn’t more tome-efficient, just different.
When I attempted to engage in a discussion, there were silences, leading me to repeatedly ask if the connection was still active.
Despite my solution being correct, passing all test cases, and with plenty of time remaining in the interview, she ended it early and informed me the same day that I had not passed.
You have to apply online or via any medium of access. There will be multiple round of interview based on what job title you have applied for. Your programming skills must be up to the mark or it wont be possible to sneak into the company
