Quick 10 minute phone call to go over availability, experience etc. Really informal chat and then invited into the store to meet with a member of the team to go over shifts.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at NEXT (Grimsby, England) in Mar 2016
Interview
Boring - seemed to bothered about my personal life rather than why I wanted the job.
They asked if i was under 25 and also if I wanted to work just weekend and later shifts.
Lady seemed really nice though and passionate about her job.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at NEXT (Bicester, England) in Jan 2020

ONLINE & PHONE INTERVIEW -
I applied online, then a few days later I was greeted with an email saying I passed the online interview and had to sit tight for a phone call if I was successful beyond that.
After a week, I received a phone call asking if I'd like to participate in a phone interview. They asked me a few of the questions and was then told that they would like to invite me for a face-to-face interview.
IN-STORE INTERVIEW -
After arriving, I was given a few tasks to do to test how well I handle customer service / warehouse. These tasks were to interact with customers, make sure the store-floor was tidy and presentable and then to scan / sort a few items in the stockroom. Soon after, they accepted my application and will be phoned in a few days.
This process was very clean and really showed me the kind of company I was going to be involved in. I couldn't have asked for a better interview process.
I've only been working for them for a day and I can honestly say - I love the team so far! I look forward to my future with this position and to work alongside my new colleagues.
