NEC Corporation Software Developer interview questions

The call came through a vendor company and I had the opportunity to interview for a contract role with a senior engineer there who asked about my software development experience from my previous company. Technical interview was fine. But I had a terrible experience with the HR there who asked a lot of personal and irrelevant information like if I was staying alone in the house or was sharing the house with others, if I had children which I was quite uncomfortable answering. The worst racist sentence the HR told me was foreigners couldn't afford day care in Singapore and if I would ever have a child,I would have to quit my job to take care of the child. This felt like a personal attack and was totally avoidable..I would never work for a company which thinks this way.
