I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NASA (Edwards AFB, CA) in Dec 2025
Interview
The interview process was fairly simple. Phone interview began with talking about experiences and learning about what the department I was applying to does. Then there were some technical questions but nothing crazy complex.
Two people, lots of technical questions. Teams meeting, hard stop at 30 minutes. Focused on the familiarity of the software packages located in the job description. Nice guys, not sure they have interviewed a lot of people in the past.

Question 1
What classes have you taken that involved partial derivation of a surface requiring a distributed load?
Pretty straightforward, one question that did stuck out to me was being asked about my favorite subject in school. It was a behavioral interview so no technical questions were asked. Some other questions asked were what's your strength, what's your weakness, etc. Although, I did end up getting ghosted by them afterwards. Didn't receive my rejection until months later.
