I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at NASA (Pasadena, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
Only did 1 round - two people on a zoom call. Started off with basic machine learning concept questions, then transitioned to talking about my resume. Ended with coding questions about python, pandas, and matplotlib.
The interview process is long and boring. After round one, I waited almost a month for a second interview. Typical government employer taking their time to get things done. The interview is fairly easy thought. Just make sure you are on board with dei initiatives
It was a simple interview, my interviewers asked me about my background, the skills I bring, why I want the internship, strengths, weaknesses, etc. The interviewers were friendly and answered questions.
