I applied for the position of Director of Global Support with MuleSoft, for which I have all the experience and qualifications. I also approached the hiring manager through linkedin. Eventually I had an interview setup with one of their recruiting managers. Having been in the market for a while I am used to odd behavior during interviews, but this one was really a doozy. The person seemed totally disinterested, so much so that they hardly bothered to ask any questions at all ("I am here to make sure you have all the information you need, ask me any question you have"). They claimed to do "cultural screening" so that they gets to work with people they like, which, according to this interview, does not require any actual skill or relevant experience. The person promised feedback within two or three days, a month later there's still no response from them. If this is a reflection of the company's culture and ability to get anything done, then I am glad to not be working there.
